Call of Duty: Black Ops

this game is madness. Since its launch in November, it has exceeded sales over $1Billion (Dr. Evil Pinky) and honestly, it deserves it.  If you already don’t know what the Call of Duty Franchise is about, youre either too old or too young to be appreciating it anyways. Taking the good from their brothers over at Infinity Ward (May they rest in peace) Treyarch takes the reigns of Call of Duty games with every other game, and this time, they took the good and ran with it all the way to the end. Including standard single player story mode, they axed the multiplayer aspect and instead allows for local multi mixed with online multi- a little secret that I never even knew until playing with Arthur. That to me was the best part.  Since the first Modern Warfare came out, my friends and I had to wait patiently and take turns in order to play online; now you can take a buddy with you and rack up them prestige points =) And multiplayer? man… that part is BANANAS. great balance, great guns, and please play this game once with really really good speakers cranked way up or really good headphones. I used the Sony MDR-V6s that I use for studio monitoring, and WOW this game blew my face off. The feel of the game, the look, the controls havent been changed, and if you are one of the lucky few to have 3D tvs, you can play this joint in 3D.

Did I mention I haven’t even played through the story mode yet?! The zombie mode is better than ever, with a hidden zombie game that’s much like Smash TV, but with zombies. If you play video games, own a ps3, xbox 360, or PC, then what the hell are you waiting for?!
